Statement of Faith: We believe in…
- One God, who has revealed Himself as the Father, and Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son, and the Holy Spirit.
- The Deity of our Lord, Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, and His sinless life. The sufficiency of His atonement for sin by His shed blood through virtue of His death on the cross. His bodily resurrection from the dead. His second coming, and His final judgement of all men.
- The resurrection of the dead. The final reward of the righteous unto everlasting life with God, and the just recompense of the wicked unto eternal damnation in the Lake of Fire.
- Repentance from sin, justification by faith in Jesus Christ, the work of the Holy Spirit in being born again, and sanctification by the Holy Spirit as necessary in the experience of salvation.
- Baptism by immersion as following the examples set forth in Holy Scripture, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as profession of faith in Jesus Christ.
- The Lord’s Supper as commanded by Jesus Christ, in remembrance of His death and resurrection for our redemption.
- Christ as the head of the Church, the Church being His body, a voluntary communion of believers in Christ assembled for the worship of God.
- All scripture based on the received text, both Old Testament and New Testament, is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, and is our final authority in all Church matters.
